Getting to Laneway Adelaide

Plan ahead and enjoy your day. Port Adelaide is roughly a 25-minute drive from the CBD, but there are a number of other ways to get there and back.

Buses

Laneway will be running four bus services to and from the festival, departing from Murray Bridge, Tanunda, Victor Harbor and the CBD (see below for routes). These services are a cheap and easy way of arriving at the festival on time and beating the crowds at the end. Return tickets are $25 and can be purchased here 

Adelaide route

  • 11:00am – Adelaide Central Bus Station
  • 11:30am – St Jerome’s Laneway Festival
  • 11:15pm – Depart festival

Victor Harboor route

  • 9:00am – Victor Harbor Information Centre
  • 9:25am – Mt Compass Post Office
  • 9:50am – Stop 90 (eastern side), Main Rd, McLaren Vale
  • 10:00am – Stop 85 (northern side), The Parade, Seaford
  • 10:15am – Stop 65 (western side), Dyson Rd, O’Sullivan Beach
  • 10:25am – Stop 52c (NW side), Lonsdale Rd, Hallett Cove
  • 10:35am – Stop 35 (western side), Brighton Rd, Brighton
  • 10:50am – Stop 29 (western side), Somerton Park
  • 10:55am – Stop 23 (western side), Brighton Rd, Glenelg
  • 11:00am – Stop 14 (western side, Tapleys Hill Rd, West Beach
  • 11:05am – Stop 25a (western side), Tapleys Hill Rd, Fulham Gardens
  • 11:10am – Stop 30 (western side), Tapleys Hill Rd, Seaton
  • 11:30am – St. Jerome’s Laneway Festival
  • 11:15pm – Depart festival

Murray Bridge route

  • 9:00am – Murray Bridge Railway Station
  • 9:45am – Mt Barker Park n Ride, Dumas St
  • 10:00am – Stop 54a (western side), German Arms Hotel, Hahndorf
  • 10:30am – Stop 24 (southern side), Crafers Ramp
  • 10:45am – Stop 5 (southern side), Arkaba Hotel, Glen Osmond Rd
  • 11:00am – Adelaide Central Bus Station
  • 11:30am – St. Jerome’s Laneway Festival
  • 11:15pm – Depart festival

Tanunda route

  • 9:50am – The Hub, Murray St, Tanunda
  • 9:55am – Orlando Wines, Barossa Valley Way, Rowland Flat
  • 10:05am – Lyndoch Bakery, Barossa Valley Way, Lyndoch
  • 10:15am – Sandy Creek Hotel, Barossa Valley Way, Sandy Creek
  • 10:25am – Fasta Pasta, Lyndoch Rd, Gawler
  • 10:40am – Opposite Law Courts, Frobisher Rd, Elizabeth
  • 10:50am – Opposite Engels Centre, Main North Rd, Salisbury East
  • 10:55am – Stop 33 (city side), Main North Rd/Montague Rd, Pooraka
  • 11:00am – Stop 25, Main North Rd, Gepps Cross
  • 11:30am – St. Jerome’s Laneway Festival
  • 11:15pm – Depart festival

Trains 

Adelaide Metro trains on the Outer Harbour route depart from Adelaide Station every 30 minutes, stopping at Port Adelaide Station 20 minutes later.  Hart’s Mill is then a 15-minute walk from the railway station. Head to adelaidemetro.com.au for full timetables and more information.

Extra train services will be running from Port Adelaide station at the completion of the festival. Times for these services will be announced closer to show day.

Metro buses 

The most direct bus route from the city to Laneway Festival is the 150, which departs from Stop R2 on North Tce every half hour and takes roughly 40 minutes to get to the Port Adelaide Interchange via Port Rd. Hart’s Mill is then a 5-minute walk away.

Driving

If you do decide to drive, there is a free public car park operating from 11am in Stevedore Pl, about a 10-minute walk from Hart’s Mill. Drivers are advised that Laneway takes no responsibility for damage to vehicles or stolen property, and use of the car park is at their own risk.
