ADELAIDE: FRIDAY 3 FEBRUARY - HARTS MILL, PORT ADELAIDE (16+)
Laneway Festival Adelaide is being held on the traditional lands of the Kaurna people and we wish to acknowledge them as Traditional Custodians. We offer our respect to the Elders of these traditional lands – both past and present - and, through them, to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
After its successful debut in 2014, Laneway returns to the historic site at Harts Mill, Port Adelaide, where an industrial space meets the stunning waterfront of the Port River. The festival boasts incredible food, more bars and more shade as it continues to step up the grade at this gorgeous venue. Adelaide will also welcome those aged 16 years and older once again in 2017.
We're proud to stand with CAMP COPE's ItTakesOne campaign. We want Laneway Festival to be fun and safe space for everyone. If you see or experience any disrespectful behaviour at Laneway please call our hotline 1800LANEWAY to report it.
GETTING TO LANEWAY
Port Adelaide is roughly a 25-minute drive from the CBD, but there are a number of other ways to get there and back.
Adelaide Metro trains on the Outer Harbour route depart from Adelaide Station every 30 minutes, stopping at Port Adelaide Station 20 minutes later. Hart’s Mill is then a 15-minute walk from the railway station. Head to adelaidemetro.com.au for full timetables and more information.
Extra train services will be running from Port Adelaide station at the completion of the festival. These services will depart at 11:19pm, 11:49pm, 12:19am and 1:19am.
The most direct bus route from the city to Laneway Festival is the 150, which departs from Stop R2 on North Tce every half hour and takes roughly 40 minutes to get to the Port Adelaide Interchange via Port Rd. Hart’s Mill is then a 5-minute walk away.
Other bus routes serving Port Adelaide include the 117, 118, 333, 350 and 352. Head to adelaidemetro.com.au for full time tables and more information.
We'll have a dedicated pick up/drop off and taxi zone on St Vincent Street, in between Hare St and Torrens Pl. There will also be a free carpark about 1 km from the festival site accessible via Divett Street, with regular shuttle buses running between the two.
We’ll have bike parking available, right near the festival entrance. BYO bike lock!
Taxi companies and UBER have been notified of the event and will be at the site at the completion of the festival. As these are independently operated Laneway cannot predict the level of Taxi and Uber services at the completion of the event and do not recommend relying on them as a primary source of transport.
Each new UBER rider travelling to Laneway Festival will receive $20 off their first trip. Simply enter the code LANEWAYAUS17 when you book.
