How do I get there?

How do I purchase a ticket?

How much are tickets?

Adelaide Laneway Festival tickets are $120 + booking fee.

Will tickets be available at the gate on the day?

If you don't want to miss out on Laneway Festival, make sure you purchase your ticket online prior to the event. Head here to get yours now.

What happens if I lose my ticket?

Tickets purchased from a retail outlet cannot be replaced if lost, please treat them like cash. Tickets purchased online will be delivered in the form of a bar-coded print-at-home PDF ticket; or a bar-coded Passbook ticket (electronic ticket on mobile device).

I.D

Is Laneway Festival 18+?

Yes, Laneway Festival is strictly an over 18s event. Anyone who fails to present valid photo ID (current driver’s license or passport) upon entry will not be allowed into the Festival. No refunds will be processed for patrons who are denied entry due to not having valid identification for admittance.

What forms of identification are accepted?

Laneway Festival has to comply with various Australian venue, police and liquor licensing requirements. As an over 18 event, you must produce valid ID to enter.

There are only certain forms of ID that will be accepted by the Laneway Festival:

Acceptable Photo ID – Australian Citizen

  • current Australian Driver’s Licence with photograph
  • current Passport
  • current State issued Proof Of Age Card
  • current Victorian Keypass Card

Acceptable Photo ID – Not an Australian Citizen

  • current Passport

Unacceptable ID
Laneway Festival cannot accept as proof of age:

  • overseas driver’s licence
  • student ID card
  • public transport card or bus pass
  • birth certificate
  • household bills, bank account statements, letter from your mum or anything else that is not listed as an Acceptable Photo ID above.

Please note if you cannot produce required ID, you will not be granted entry to Laneway Festival. There are no exceptions. Ever.

At the Festival

Will pass outs be available on the day?

There are no pass outs on the day. If you choose to leave the Festival at any point, you will not be admitted back in. There will be more than enough food, drinks, amenities and of course, music to keep going all day.

When do the festival gates open?

Gates open at 11.30am with the event finishing at 11.00pm.

What happens if it rains on the day?

Laneway Festival will go ahead rain or shine.

Can I bring my own alcohol into the festival?

No. Laneway Festival is licensed to sell food & drinks and provides great, well-stocked bars. All bags are searched on arrival.

Can I go bare foot?

Sorry guys shoe wear is necessary - thongs and sandals are fine but we highly recommend enclosed footwear as it is a long day.

Where do I report any lost or found articles?

Found: Please take any found items to festival staff.

Lost: If you misplace something please check with gate staff on the day as things will be turned in there. Alternatively, please email info@lanewayfestival.com.au and we will do our very best to help you.

Will there be free wireless internet at the festival?

Yes, the network is going to be called 'Harts Mill' and won't have a password.

Disabled access

Does Laneway Festival have disabled access & facilities?

Yes, Harts Mill is accessible for disabled patrons, please note there are different surfaces on site including bitumen, paving, concrete and some unmown field grass, which will impact on ease of movement.

There is disability permit parking provided approximately 250 metres from the main entrance.

Services will be provided to assist where required.

What should I bring to the festival? What should I leave at home?

The following items are prohibited:
✘ Glass
✘ Cans
✘ Skateboards, scooters, rollerblades, bicycles
✘ Milk or bread crates or metal cans or containers
✘ Chairs (folding, portable, camping) or any other furniture
✘ Anything studded or spiked (belts, wristbands, etc) or large chains
✘ Club patches and jackets
✘ Weapons of any kind (including potential missiles)
✘ Flares, Fireworks or Sparklers
✘ Alcohol
✘ Drugs
✘ Sound or video recorders or professional cameras (with removable lens)(small still cameras are allowed)
✘ Laser lights or laser pens
✘ Umbrellas (bring a plastic poncho or raincoat instead)
✘ Water pistols
✘ Dogs or other pets (service dogs excepted)
✘ Fires and open flames of any kind
✘ Sound Systems
✘ Eskies, coolers or chilly bins
✘ Any other items deemed dangerous or potentially disruptive by Laneway in its discretion

What kind of cameras & recording devices can I bring with me?

No professional cameras (read: cameras with detachable lenses) are permitted without formal media accreditation. Likewise no audio or film recording equipment can be brought into the Festival.
